We tour up the West Coast of Australia from Perth to Exmouth before heading to Karijini National Park. This tour returns to Perth.

Worried you’ll be on a tour with someone’s grumpy grandparents? We are the only West Coast tour just for backpackers! We have young enthusiastic guides and the majority of our passengers are between 18 and 35. Become part of the Why Not Bus family! Laugh your ass off with your new friends, share funny experiences or bust out the red cups for some competitive party fun.

We encourage everyone to be who they want to be! Experience true freedom hundreds of kms from the ‘Real World’! There is a mixture of accommodation on the trip. Nights are split between bush camps, caravan parks, hostels and glamping. This allows you to experience a little bit of everything.

We tow a custom-built camping trailer with a kitchen, fridge, games, tents, sleeping bags and mattresses. All you need to bring is yourself, a sense of adventure and the desire to see the real Australia!

Accommodation and National park fees included

Food: At the beginning of each trip we all put money into a ‘food fund’. This is then used to buy ingredients that make up the delicious feasts we eat along the way. The overall food costs vary from trip to trip but you can expect to spend between $5 to $10 a day for food. (Initially everyone puts in $80 to the food fund at the begining of the trip. More may require a little extra to be added during the trip or some money refunded at the end).

Sleeping bag/ Mattress/tent: are provided or BYO gear just let us know so we don’t double pack 🙂

Optional Activities (Availability is dependent on time of year and weather)

• Sea Lion Boat Trip: Take a 2hr boat trip to the Jurien Bay Marine Park on Day 2 where you will snorkel and see the local sea Lion population.
• Whale Shark Swim; An all day experience that includes swimming with these magnificent creatures, a warm-up reef snorkel and a delicious lunch for the cheapest price in town.
• Surfing; Take a surf Lesson or board rental in Exmouth.
• Ningaloo Manta Ray Tour; Spend an epic day at Ningaloo reef in coral bay. snorkel the outer reef and later swim with 2-3m manta rays.
• Rent a Kayak; Paddle through the world Heritage eco systems of Shark bay and Ningaloo reef
• Snorkel Rental; 2 days snorkel rental in coral bay.
